i have the sony DSC-P72 it has 3.2 mega pixels and an optical 3x zoom

10 things i learned

1. i learned how to use the self- timer
2. I learned how to view the pictures/ videos on the t.v.
3. I learned how to format a memory stick
4. I learned how to select a metering mode
5. I learned how to adjust the exposure
6. I learned how to add special effects
7. I learned how to Shoot movies
8. I learned how to rotate a still image
9. I learned how to select flash modes for the appropriate setting
10. I learned how to decide what the still image quality should be

3 things i would like to learn more about

1. i would like to learn more about how to chose the right amount of light and color tones for the best quality picture
2. I would like to learn more about shooting two images in sone succession
3. I would like to learn more about how to protect images

  1. The auto settings are usually good indicators, but sometimes we have to fool the light meter. We can do that with the different program modes (they will offset it...For exmaple, a bluish tint is added when selecting a incandescent light mode). After some experimenting, you can try to change it with AEB or +/- exposure (see blog link).
