this one is a picture of my headlight. and the meaning of this kind of ties in with the mirror. what i am trying to convey by this one is at night headlights help you make your way through the night. so the meaning i had for this one is always look at the bright side and look at what your future will bring.

This is a picture of my passenger side mirror of my truck. my reason for taking this is that if you have problems in your past that you are having troubles with just try and block them out and dont look back on them and i also took this at a different perspective than straight on as well as the tire and along with my next picture.

series

for the series the mood or theme is parts of my truck and ways they relate to life. for example the tire spins round and round so what i am trying to convey by this is that no matter where life may take you keep your head up and keep driving foward.

in this picture it is also graffiti on my wall and i wanted to empahaize the yellows and oranges and i also messed with the settings on my camera to make the background a blueish tint so that the yellow would stand out and i took a long exposure so that it would be blurred just a bit and i took it at a different perspective then just straight on. as well as the picture before it with my name in graffiti on my wall.

in this picture i also turned the flash off on my camera and turned on my neon lights and played with the settings so that the blue was brought out and would stand out and it kind of turned the yellow a greenish tint which was what i was going for. by the way this is my name graffittied on my wall.

color

so i redid my color pictures and this is one of them. in this picture i have christmas lights up in my room and i turned them on and turned off the flash on my camera and was messing with the settings and this is what i came up with. i wanted to bring out the redish and pink tints and i think i did that well i also wanted to have it off center at the top of the picture.

This is my Cd cover. in this picture its me holding the 22 inch bass i caught up north. the title down in the back woods is because were i go up north we live in the middle of the woods and I'm standing on the deck and all behind me is part of the woods we live in. i tried to convey the theme of being in the backwoods were in order to survive you have to hunt and fish to get your own food, so therefore i thought the title would fit this picture best. i also was going to put the only place that i call home but i liked this better. i used the watercolor effect on photo shop to create this image.

this isnt that great of a picture either but i tryed to make it look like the dog and cat were huge like oversized. and i tryed to make it look like the dog was laying on the hood and the cat was sitting on the ground holding on to the dog like sitting up. i also lowered the capacity in both of them.

this really isnt that great of a picture for surrealism but i tryed its of my fourwheller running over the moon.

this is one of my surreal pictures i have the stapler stapleling the earth like its holding us together and i fadded the opacity on the stapler

color pictures

in this picture i have my snowboard my blue pants a blue shirt then a dark blue shirt with a cd on top of it in this picture i wanted the blue to be the color of choice.

In this picture i have my whit hat on a black sweatshirt along a white t-shirt and a cd case in the bottom right corner

In this picture i have my yellow sweatshirt with a gun shell on it my hat and a old phone personally this is my favorite picture

this picture was taken 2 days before the first snow fall meant for this class i just never put it up and i thought that this would emulate his work better than a snowy picture would so i decided to use this one. i like how everything is still green and it kind of stands out and then you have the huge tall tree that got cut off at the top. what i could have done better is used rule of thirds better instead of centering it and i should have cropped out the edges and feathered them into a different picture it would look alot better i think.

i tryed to emulate the outline of him where he layed down and it snowed around him but i really couldnt to that seeing as how there is snow already on the ground and it wasnt snowing out when this had to be done. i really dont like this picture i could have done alot better but i was in a hurry and it was dark out.

i like this picture and i dont i had to take it at night because its the only time i could fit it in. i like how it has the rule of thirds it starts in the top left corner and ends just off set to the left a little i wish i would have made it end in the bottom right corner though.
